Being able to connect and enhance a community where diversity and unity are established in both education and knowledge go hand in hand. Technology is a huge factor and benefit that allows professional development. The three-pronged approaches listed in the book “Development a Connected Learning Model “ call for local community professional learning which is group learning, global networking that can be apps such as TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, etc and last but not least bounded community’s were a group/ community are about to find a middle ground in their interest and can bounce back knowledge and inquiries. Education isn’t now in books as much as it is in the world and that can change a lot in just a classroom so encouraging and incorporating new models of learning methods and strategies for classroom instructions can help identify strengths and weaknesses in students.

Even tho technology can help with networking and collaboration is not a new style of learning. Connecting globally and gaining knowledge has been around for a long time but being able to improve learning is what matters. Throughout the book, many researchers have tested teachers with the scale of enhancing their learning by collaborating with their communities and found it to have a sense of purpose. I’m majoring in biology and am interested in becoming a Nico doctor or maybe I wanna go for forensic science either our I have been influenced by technology. Yet both careers focus on working together and collaborating to save lives. In any group project as the book mentioned is important to put your own biases aside and allow your mind to accept and grow off of other people‘s ideas which can be also beneficial not only to yourself but your education. Watching shows or even being aware of the world around me via news are social media my interest grew. I can easily go on YouTube and search for “ Nicu doctor and is it worth it “ and find all the information and read arrivals for days. Having technology means two taps away enhances not only the way I think about a new idea, but also minimizes concerns and sets of problems I have about my passions, yet sum times you can fall victim to diversity in comparison, comparing yourself to others and their achievements

Perhaps, Tolerating that the world is changing means changing the way we teach the way we consume the way we think. The world has Equal The same amount or even more access to knowledge other than books opens doors to opportunities and always us to be connected to the world without being there. Yet technology can be lonely and isolating, I have experienced teachers of my own who used technology in their classroom, but made it engaging in full of fun. I couldn’t imagine my world without Google an app that u can do all types of research on from all around the world without even leaving your own home and that’s a great example of the 21st-century technology enhancement

  1. Hello Nairis, I agree with your statement that technology allows us to have a professional development within our communities. I also agree that technology can be lonely and isolating, but without it we would not be as advanced as we are now.

  2. While agreeing that technology can be greatly harmful to people, I liked how you brought up the limitless information an individual can search for in regards to career options and whether they are worth it. Ideas can sprout rapidly with just a few apps!
